“Where are we really going? Always home.”
Novalis

Designed by René Gonzalez, Louver House is shaped by filtered light, planted terraces, and the shifting relationship between indoors and out. Created for a young executive, the residence needed to move easily between focused work, solitude, and entertaining without feeling divided into separate lives.

The interior brings together works by Charlotte Perriand, George Nakashima, Sergio Rodrigues, Ingo Maurer, and others. Different periods and geographies are connected through material, proportion, and use rather than a single aesthetic. Wood, stone, metal, paper, and textile give the home warmth while allowing each object to retain its own identity.

Nothing is treated as untouchable. The desk is worked at, the chairs are lived in, and the rooms change as daylight moves across them. The result is collected but never staged: a home that reveals itself slowly and becomes more personal through use.
